All candidates who apply to study at Fairfield School of Business will be invited to an Assessment Day. The assessment day is a very exciting opportunity, as it will allow you to discover our range of courses, meet our academic and support staff, speak to current students about what life at FSB is like and have a tour of the campus.
The aim of the assessment day is to provide you all the information you need to start your application at FSB. At the assessment day, the admissions team will check that you qualify to enrol on the course, by reviewing your documentation and previous qualifications. For applicants aged between 18 and 21, you will be expected to hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in your chosen subject. Mature learners aged 21 and over, without formal qualifications, will need to demonstrate that their prior experiences are relevant to their chosen course.
On arrival to your assessment day, you will need to provide us with the following documents:

- Valid Identification
- Proof of address (dated within 3 months)
- Evidence of previous qualifications; where required, these will be cross-checked against relevant databases or ECCTIS (formally NARIC)
- Personal Statement (500 words for undergraduate degrees and 300 words for postgraduate degrees)
- Supporting funding documents

• Applicants applying for direct entry to any stage of a course other than stage 1 are regarded as being admitted with advanced standing. The award of credit necessary for that purpose shall be made by the Admissions Panel.
• Applicants, who wish to apply for advanced standing, must submit original transcripts and certificates of prior learning with their application. Applicants who are eligible for advanced standing with specific credit, will be informed of this upon consideration by the Admissions Panel and with consultation with relevant awarding bodies.
