What is a Foundation Year?

FSB offers an innovative foundation year to complement the Undergraduate Degrees.  Our Foundation Year* is the first year of a four-year degree. Completion of the foundation year leads to the first year of the 3-year degree in Digital Marketing.

The foundation year provides those unable to access the traditional UCAS tariff requirements for a three-year degree with an alternative route to gain an honours degree.

This is a 4-year degree which includes a preparatory first year as part of the BSc Digital Marketing course. This 4-year option will suit you if you want more time to develop your skill set before starting year one of your undergraduate degree or if you do not fulfil the entry requirements of the 3-year course.

Your tutors will nurture your creative potential while you develop the skills you need to confidently enter undergraduate study. You will develop communication, professional and entrepreneurial skills alongside research practice and ways of thinking that are essential to your continued success.

Digital Marketing (with Foundation Year) is not a standalone course: it is the first stage of a full four-year undergraduate degree.
