The Office for Students
The Office for Students (OfS) is the independent regulatory body and competition authority for higher education providers in England. Its purpose is to safeguard the interests of students and to ensure that providers offer a high-quality experience that enables students to succeed academically and professionally.
The OfS maintains a register of approved higher education providers, whose students are eligible to receive financial support from Student Finance England.

Is Fairfield School of Business a Registered provider with the OfS?
Fairfield School of Business has applied to be registered with the OfS and is currently awaiting its decision.
As FSB’s programmes are delivered under franchise agreements with partner universities who are registered with the OfS, our students are eligible to receive the student finance from the Student Loans Company to cover the cost of their tuition fees, as well as maintenance grants to help with the cost of living.
Protecting the Interests of Students
Higher education providers registered with the OfS are required to produce a Student Protection Plan, which sets out what students can expect if a course, campus or the School itself should temporarily or permanently close. Whilst this is very unlikely to happen, the Student Protection Plan ensures that the School can guarantee to deliver your programme in full, or place you with a suitable alternative provider if it cannot.
