Renting can be quite expensive, as such it is advised, for those of you who may require accommodation to look as early as possible. There are a number of private landlords within the vicinity of our campuses available for rent.
Please note that the Fairfield School of Business (FSB) does not have its own student accommodation and is unable to provide students with dedicated assistance in this regard.
You can also find accommodation opportunities in local newspaper listings, and with lettings agents in the vicinity of FSB campuses.
Council Tax:
As a full time student studying at FSB you are able to apply for a council tax exemption. However, you must meet the following conditions below:
- The student is required to attend for at least 24 weeks, which involves 21 hours per week of studies, tuition or work experience.
If you are required to provide evidence to your local authority’s council tax office, then you will need to request a letter from us confirming your student status. This can usually be obtained from our Student Support Office. Please note, you will need to obtain a letter each academic year.
