At Fairfield School of Business, our Careers & Employability Team is committed to helping students and graduates build confidence, explore career options and connect directly with employers.
Throughout the academic year, we organise Careers & Opportunities Fairs, employer events and employability workshops across our campuses. These events give students the opportunity to meet employers and organisations face-to-face, discover vacancies and career pathways, and develop the skills needed to take their next steps into employment.

Our careers fairs are open to current FSB students and graduates.

Details on our upcoming Careers Fairs are below.

Why Attend an FSB Careers Fair?
A careers fair is about much more than finding an immediate vacancy. It is an opportunity to explore what employers are looking for and begin building relationships that may support your future career.
By attending, you can:
  • Discover jobs and opportunities you may not have considered
  • Speak directly with recruiters and employers
  • Learn what skills employers are looking for
  • Find out more about different industries and career pathways
  • Improve your confidence and communication skills
  • Ask questions about recruitment and applications
  • Build your professional network
  • Learn about work experience, volunteering and training
  • Get advice from the FSB Careers & Employability Team
Before You Attend
To get the most from the fair, we recommend that you:
Update your CV. Bring copies or have a digital version available.
Read the student brochure. Identify the employers you would particularly like to meet.
Research the organisations. Knowing a little about an employer will help you have a better conversation.
Prepare a short introduction. Be ready to explain who you are, what you are studying and what type of opportunities interest you.
Prepare questions. Ask employers about vacancies, recruitment processes, skills they value and opportunities for graduates.
Dress appropriately. You do not necessarily need to wear a suit, but aim to look professional and presentable.
Follow up. If an employer gives you contact details or asks you to apply for a role, make sure you act on it after the fair.
