The Office for Students
The Office for Students (OfS) is the independent regulatory body and competition authority for higher education providers in England. Its purpose is to safeguard the interests of students and to ensure that providers offer a high-quality experience that enables students to succeed academically and professionally.

Is Fairfield School of Business a Registered provider with the OfS?
Yes. Fairfield School of Business is an Approved Provider. This means that you can be confident that the quality of higher education at Fairfield meets the recognised national standards for excellence, and that your qualification will hold its value over time.
As an approved provider, FSB students are eligible to receive student finance loans from the Student Loans Company to cover the cost of their tuition fees, as well as maintenance grants to help with the cost of living.
Protecting the Interests of Students
Higher education providers registered with the OfS are required to produce a Student Protection Plan, which sets out what students can expect if a course, campus or the School itself should temporarily or permanently close. Whilst this is very unlikely to happen, the Student Protection Plan is our guarantee that we will use all reasonable means to deliver your programme in full or place you with a suitable alternative provider if it cannot.
